The Cricketist is an effort to deliver unbiased and unpolarized opinion. The stress is on quality of material and impartiality of views. While The Cricketist does not have the luxury of watching matches live on ground or knowing inside information about cricketers and teams, it sure does have the ability to analyze any information that is available in the public domain. The Cricketist also features many cartoons that are created in house. Please watch out this space for exciting features in the future.
Why Satire?
We believe Cricket is a fun game and the writing on it should be funny too. As folks who are always in the lookout for stuff to read that will make our pearlies flash, we realized that there are very few dedicated people who are writing satirical, hilarious articles on Cricket. Then we thought hey, we can do this stuff. From that moment of epiphany, we have dedicated all our resources, which are scarce, on writing, creating and distributing fun stuff on Cricket. Now there are enough serious blokes writing serious matters. So we decided to jazz things up by creating some fun to read satire material.
Nah...we don't want to make any dough out of it. Our articles are meant for pure, uncommercialized, corporate free and no puns intended fun for the general good.
